Simply Well and Pump · Starke & Bradford County
Whether a property needs its first well or an existing system has stopped delivering water, the work should begin with an understanding of the entire system. Simply Well and Pump provides four core well services for Starke and nearby Bradford County property owners. Our primary work is well drilling and well pump replacement, supported by inspections and well abandonment.
Drilling · Pumps · Inspections
Primary Service
A new well may be needed for a new home, a property that needs its own water supply, or an older well that no longer meets demand. The right plan depends on the site and how the water will be used. We discuss the expected water demand and evaluate the property before explaining the proposed well, pump, pressure equipment, and installation scope.
Drilling is one part of the project. The completed system must move water from the well to the property at usable pressure. Pump selection and pressure equipment therefore belong in the conversation from the beginning. We also discuss access for the work and the applicable permitting process so owners understand what is involved before installation starts.
If you already have a well, we can evaluate its performance before deciding whether a new one is necessary. A pump failure or another equipment problem may explain poor water delivery. If a new well is warranted, we can also discuss what should happen to the old well.

Primary Service
A working well cannot supply the property if its pump fails. A complete loss of water is an obvious warning, but declining pressure, frequent cycling, or uneven flow can also prompt a service call. Those symptoms do not identify the failed part on their own. The pump, pressure tank, switch, and electrical controls work together and should be evaluated as a system.
We check the cause before recommending a replacement. If the pump has failed or no longer suits the property’s needs, we explain the options and select a replacement based on the well and expected demand. After installation, system operation and water pressure should be checked. If another component is responsible, the estimate should focus on the actual problem.
Tell us whether the water stopped suddenly or declined over time, whether the pump appears to cycle, and whether the problem affects the whole property. Those details help narrow the diagnosis.

Supporting Well Services
An inspection helps an owner or buyer learn more about a private well. It can be useful before a real estate purchase, after a period without service, or when the system begins behaving differently. We review accessible well and pressure-system components, assess performance, and explain what we can observe. The scope of water sampling or laboratory testing, if requested, should be specified separately in the estimate.
An inspection does not guarantee that a well will never need repairs. It gives you a clearer view of present conditions and helps you decide whether maintenance, further testing, or equipment work is appropriate.
A well that is permanently out of use needs more than a cover over its opening. Proper abandonment seals the well using the required method so it does not become a path for contamination. This may be relevant when a new well replaces an old one or a property permanently changes its water supply.
We can assess the existing well, explain the abandonment scope, and address applicable permitting and documentation. Florida's water well rules govern this work, so the condition and construction of the well matter to the plan.
You do not have to diagnose the system yourself. If the property has no water, the pressure has changed, or you are planning construction, tell us what is happening. We can identify the right starting point and explain the proposed work before you make a decision.
